Birgit arrived in Kathmandu this Saturday. Purpose for this trip is to meet old partners like Rainbow Volunteer Club, make new connections like for example with a school and we met with Kindernothilfe Nepal. And as our cooperation with BBUN ended we are also collecting office equipments items such as computers, camera etc. to hand over to a local NGO.
The meeting with Rainbow Volunteer was interesting as we got to learn about how they manage to mobilize volunteers, their school project and more.
Here you can see students practising for an upcoming school tournament. They start their exercise at 5:30 AM in the morning, before it is too hot.
