Our projects

Get active and help together

Here you will find information about our current projects and how you can support needy children and families in Nepal with us. Join us to help children to a better life! We deliberately focus on seven essential haput areas, each project is assigned to one area:

  • Education
  • Empowerment / Family
  • Environment
  • Equipment
  • Health
  • Nutrition
  • Protection

School Notebooks

In most preschool classes in rural schools in Nepal, there are hardly any learning materials and toys, and the quality of school materials is extremely poor. School children often lack basic equipment for school. In Nepal, it is common for most rural children to attend school, and continuous school attendance is always uncertain. Unfortunately, the situation of children in Nepal shows that they are often exploited. Our goal is to buy 3,600 notebooks for orphans and children’s homes. Each one costs 43 Rupees (approx. 0,32 €) and has 62 pages including cover and back. The paper of the notebooks ensures that the children can write well with an ink pen. Cost: approx. € 1.600,- incl. distribution.

Scooter / Mobility

EPSA Nepal (Entire Power in Social Action Nepal) an organization that works to empower women with disabilities is in desperate need of a new motor scooter. The vehicle serves as an important part of the organization’s mission to get women who are unable to get around by themselves from point A to point B. The current scooter (Honda Pleasure) is over 7 years old and no longer safe (wear and brakes). A newer model (TVS NTORQ) is needed about €2,500 – €3,000 for a modified scooter (3 wheels) and 2 new helmets and gloves.

Empowerment through mobility.

Playground

This is about a playground for street children who are rescued. They will stay at Voice of Children’s Dropping Center for 3 months before being upgraded to the Socialization Center, where they will stay for about 8 months before being reintegrated or starting an education. Sports and games are important components to resocialize the children, especially if they come directly from the streets. Activities that are offered to the children are, for example, painting, yoga, dancing, handicrafts (limited), etc. Therefore we would like to finance a playground and other toys: approx. €10.000

A playground for child-friendly play and experience space and motor development.

“We usually devote our attention to those who have a big mouth in the media. Yet it’s often the small projects that make change possible. I want to make such projects heard.”
