We would like to tell you about a wonderful event that took place last weekend. Together with some friends, we took part in the Lichtenberg market of lights to sell beautiful felt products from EPSA Nepal and cashmere pieces from our stock.
The day started early at 11am when we started to set up our stall. The atmosphere at the market was already noticeably festive at this point, and the anticipation for the coming hours grew. Our felt products, cashmere scarves and felt work from ESPA Nepal were lovingly presented and we were hoping for a successful sales day.
We had the first customers at our stand even before the official start of the market at 1 pm. There was great interest in our handmade goods, especially the felt work. We were delighted to see how visitors not only appreciated the quality and uniqueness of our products, but also did something good with their purchase.
Working together with friends made the day particularly enjoyable, not only in business terms but also personally. All in all, we did three good things on the day: we supported women with disabilities by selling ESPA Nepal’s felted products, brought joy to shoppers with our handmade products and raised money for children in Nepal.
The hours flew by and by 6 p.m. we had not only had many interesting conversations, but also generated an impressive turnover of almost €500. This result exceeded our expectations and made the day a real success.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported us on the day – whether it was through their active help with setting up and selling or through the moral support that motivated us. It shows once again that teamwork and passion for what you do can lead to impressive results. The market of lights in Lichtenberg will certainly remain a fond memory for us, not only because of the wonderful ambiance, but also because of the great atmosphere. A special thanks goes to Joanna because without her help we would not have been able to manage the day.
