Why is this so important to me personally and to us as a research institute?
We work every day with questions about the future, with data and analyses. But we also know that knowledge only grows where people are given a real chance.
What you are doing in Nepal—especially in the areas of education and empowerment for women and children—is the foundation of any societal development. As a research institute, we firmly believe that education must not be a privilege, but a human right. By supporting your work, we close the circle: we promote research here, but we also help prepare the ground where starting conditions are the most challenging.
