Today we would like to inform you about a very special radio program:
Every week, a radio program is dedicated to educating children and young people about cyber security. The program is recorded on Thursdays and broadcast on Fridays on seven radio stations to provide young people with practical tips and knowledge about digital security. Birgit was there last week and was able to experience the set-up live.
A program with a strong mission
In an increasingly digital world, children and young people in Nepal also face challenges such as phishing, password protection and the dangers of social media. The radio program addresses these topics and explains them in an age-appropriate, exciting and interactive way.
Birgit insights: on site
Birgit attended the recording on Thursday and was impressed by the team’s energy. She was particularly impressed by how complex topics were conveyed in a playful way, making them easy for children and young people to understand.
Together for a secure future
The radio program is an inspiring example of how young people can navigate the digital world safely and consciously and how peer-to-peer works in practice. Thank you Voice of Children!
