A few days ago we received an email from the Embassy in Kathmandu with a link to a discussion between Roland Schäfer (German Ambassador) and Ms Mandira Sharma (lawyer) on transitional justice and human rights in Nepal, which we would like to share with you.
This is our second order, as we have sold the first “test” order. So many thanks to everyone who has already bought one or more wish ribbons!!! What’s with the wish-bracelet? They are 100 % produced in Nepal by survivors of trafficking and people without hearing. All proceeds will be used for children in Nepal! ..
The plan was a different one, because we wanted to sign our cooperation or rather the framework of our collabortion directly in Kathmandu. And then came Corona. And since it is not clear at the moment whether we can travel to Kathmandu in September, we decided to sign our agreement in Hamburg.
We received a positive message from the German Embassy in Kathmandu that we like to share with you. It is a story about 3.000 PCR-Test Kits, made in Germany, that arrived in Nepal thanks to a French cargo repatriation flight. Together we are stronger. More details can be found here:
